Tense last round in Amateur 1: nearest camera is Haddou Sellak (Morocco) playing White against Samuel Flanagan (Ireland), with Rupert Dickens (England) playing White against Geir Ole Aagedal (Norway). The first prize is £1,000 with generous rating prizes, so there is a lot to play for.

Click here for a list of the players in the two Amateur events. The two Amateur tournaments are open to players with FIDE ratings under 1850 or nationally rated players of under 1850, ECF grade 156, or unrated players. They should prove to be highly enjoyable events.
